Hello! Get to know a little about us, and be sure to contact us so we can get to know a little about you!

We are Clay & Emily Rachel Fowler. We met at Harding University in 1993, and were married just after Christmas Day, 1996. Memphis, TN, has been our home for nearly three decades, and we treasure many fond memories of raising our family here. God has blessed us with four adult kids – one daughter, Anna (Fowler) Newby; one son-in-law, Ryland Newby; one son, Benjamin Fowler; and one daughter-in-law, Naomi Fowler. Ryland and Anna live in Jackson, TN, and Ben and Naomi live in Searcy, AR.

Clay holds a Bachelor of Science in Art – Graphic Design (1997), a Masters in the Art of Teaching (2009), and is working towards a Masters of Arts in Christian Ministry (May 2026). He grew up in Plano, TX, and really enjoys a good Diet Dr Pepper. In the past, he has had careers in Graphic Design, Art Education, and Ministry.

Emily Rachel holds a Bachelor of Science in Music Education (1997), and the Master Teacher certification from Kindermusik International. She is the daughter of Japanese Missionaries Dwight & Josephine Albright and lived in Japan for 9 years during childhood. Some of her interests include enjoying God’s creation in the great outdoors, goofing off with her husband and adult kids (now with spouses!), and speaking and studying her second heart language of Japanese from her childhood living in Tokyo and from short term summer mission work there.

Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I
will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me,
for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for
your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.

~ Matthew 11:28-30
